Farewell Flagstaff!

Hip hip hooray, the glorious day has finally come! On January 1st we moved out of Flagstaff. I've been waiting for this day since the day I arrived for my freshman year of college over 7 years ago. In a way it is bittersweet. Since moving to Flagstaff I did live on my own for the first time, got a bachelor's and master's degree, got my first car, and got married. I also had some good times with great friends. However, Cade and I are the last of all of our firends, both from our single and married days, to leave town. So it's about time if you ask me.

In no particular order, here are some things I will NOT miss about Flagstaff:
1. Traffic on Milton 12 hours a day everyday.
2. The ever present smell of Purina dog food on the east side of town.
3. The city ordinance preventing large stores (so instead all the people from Flag, surrounding towns, and the rez get to PACK into the one Wal-Mart that isn't even a Super Wal-Mart!).
4. Dog worshipping granolas who smoke and then preach about global warming.
5. NAU robbing me of every dime I get but still not offering classes I want.
6. No free t.v. stations.
7. Scraping the frost off the car in below freezing temperatures.
8. Living in apartments.

Things I will miss about Flagstaff:
1. The snow (I'm not kidding, we both really do like the snow, especially when it snows enough to cancel classes).
2. Hmmm. . . I can't really think of anything else.

Here are some random pictures of good times. They aren't all my favorites but I only have selected pictures on my computer from back in the day before I had a digital camera.

I won't say what's going on here, but Cynthia, Jessica, and I are on a special mission.
